Bathing Bella
Bella learnt to swim today
In pretty Speech House lake
She watched a pack of dogs have fun
Before the plunge she'd take
We knew she liked a paddle
In puddles she'd go in
But never went in water
That came up past her chin
Yet now she's really happy
To fetch sticks that are thrown
Then swimming back so gleeful
Like pooch that's found a bone
Her mistress might have problems
With this ability
A little lake is one thing
But what about the sea?
