Jewel Lake
Words that string together
There for rhythm's sake
A poem for the moment
A tribute to the lake
No more that Stinking Corner
No more in disused state
Loved by all the swimmers
Who for the daybreak wait
Stretching to infinity
Filled by the highest tide
Another Clevedon jewel
The Channel here beside.
