The Winter cold's behind us
And Springtime chill’s forgot
It's Summer at Marine Lake
A day that could be hot
The lakeside now is filling
With families at play
The paddle boards are pumped up
And divers on display
Jumping from blue platform
Landing with a splash
As round the edge of paddling pool
The little children dash
The year-round hardy swimmers
Now just among a throng
Happy to see others
Enjoy where they belong.
