In Clevedon in North Somerset

On seafront in the sun

The youngsters here are gathering

To share in Park Run fun

Forty-fifty taking part

From toddler to pre-teen

The slow and the fleet-footed

And others in between

Supported by their parents

Some jogging by their side

Even there with pushchairs

And all with obvious pride

An early introduction

To healthy exercise

The kids all seem to love it

And that is no surprise.
