Spine of Sand
Revealed out in the Channel
Exposed in morning sun
The sand banks form a pattern -
A most intriguing one
Beneath the cliffs of Wains Hill
It looks just like the spine
Of prehistoric creature
That's lost in mists of time
A section of the skeleton
Of massive dinosaur
Reminding us of creatures
Which strode the Earth before.
