Handy Fingers
Some sums can be a problem
And hard to understand
So when you’re in a pickle
It’s good to have a hand
There’s just one little finger
And only one big thumb
A pointer called the index
And one for rings like Mum’s
That leaves the middle finger
The longest of the bunch
And good for storing hula hoops
When on a picnic lunch
So use your hand for counting
And maths you will survive
Just add the fingers and the thumb
And you will see you’re FIVE!
