Never In Our Name

This is not Bristol fashion
Nor how we demonstrate
Filling streets with anger
Spewing out just hate
Police are there to make sure
We keep the rule of law
Without them there is anarchy
A taste of what we saw
Protection they afford us
The confidence they give
Secures our public safety
Without which we can't live
Those who besmirched our city
Should hang their heads in shame
Arson and destruction
Are never in our name
The parents of these rioters
And all to whom they're known
Should not condone with silence
But publicly disown.
