Through the peaceful meadows
Where the Avon flows
Gently past the tree-lined banks
A golden carpet shows
A bounty here of buttercups
Brilliant in the sun
Lining every pathway
In perfect unison
Painting all the valley
Where families come to stroll
And swim in crystal waters
As summer hours unroll.
