The Dolphin Inn
Supper at the Dolphin Inn
Beside the River Yealm
Fish and chips to die for
And Nicky at the helm
Outside the happy chatter
As daylight slowly fades
G&Ts on terrace sipped
Fine wine and lemonades
Inside the bar a stranger finds
Convivial atmosphere
With wholesome food a-plenty
And pints of real draught beer
At heart of Newton Ferrers
Where waters flow to sea
Reminder of old England
And true community.
