The Outlaws

When Dave and his son, Tim,
Plus Vivvie want applause
They take the stage and introduce
The band called The Outlaws
Their surname it is Laws, you see,
And that's how come the title
Their music is an upbeat mix
No classical recital
Not always just a trio
They've guests to come sit in
Happy to experience
The buzz as they begin
You might hear rock or country
Sea chanty or bluegrass
They can slow the rhythm down
Or speed up really fast
Their instruments are varied
Ukelele and guitar
Mandolin and violin
Sometimes harmonica
Their gigs have built a following
With each success they've scored
But I'm sure many talk about
The guy who played washboard.
