Today if you're out walking
It's common courtesy
To keep a social distance
If others you should see
On pavements that are narrow
Where traffic you can face
Step into the roadway
So walkers have their space
In shops the rule is simple
You have to wear a mask
And don't bunch up at check-outs
Staff shouldn't have to ask
When all are vaccinated
And Covid's in the past
The good manners we've adopted
Will hopefully all last.
