Another day of sunshine
Another day of heat
It's hot here by the lakeside
It's hot out on the street
We walk in early morning
And when it's cooling down
Pitying those mad dogs
And Englishmen in town
But as we crave an ice cream
And seek for welcome shade
Spare thoughts for those in Europe floods
Who just for rescue prayed.
