A Poet's Choice

Some poets look for rhythm
Testing out the meter
Not for them that blank verse
They find their rhyming sweeter
The subject doesn't matter
They'll conjure up a theme
An everyday occurrence
Or plucked from out a dream
Romance the inspiration
Perhaps a perfect view
A break among the storm clouds
With sunbeams piercing through
Open English countryside
Nature at its best
A vivid, vibrant sunset
As day is put to rest
Poetry a blessing
To beauty give a voice
Emotions seeking harmony
Together bound by choice.
