Steart Hide View
Sand dunes in the sunshine
The Channel here beside
Calls of distant curlew
Out on receding tide
Shapes of Steep and Flat Holms
Softened in the haze
A hide on edge of marshes
In lengthening April days
Shelduck and Little Egret
Search on the glistening shore
Their prize to find more morsels
From Nature's bounteous store.
