Diamond Frost
Temperatures fast falling
Through silent hours of night
'Til we all awaken
To world bright painted white
Trees left bare and barren
When autumn leaves were lost
Transformed as if by magic
Here clothed in diamond frost
Sparkling in the sunshine
Through winter's pure device
Stark branches raised to beauty
Fresh dressed in glittering ice.
