Dandelions
Golden weeds on roadside
Oft’ ignored by all
Outshone by lush aubretia
Arrayed on garden wall
But Spring gives them their moment
The dandelions burst forth
Blooming in profusion
Despite the winds from North
Yet their time is finite
Too soon the parting show
Their clocks appear with waiting seeds
Away on breeze to blow.
