Dome of Blue
A dome of blue above the sea
As high tide fills the creeks
Calling gulls dot gentle waves
As out a small boat seeks
The bounty of the Channel
That waits the fishing line
While rimming the horizon
Pale cliffs far Wales define
Past white lighthouse of Flat Holm
The distant Devon moor
While down below the grassy hill
Cool waters kiss the shore.
