Linda's 70th Birthday
Once it was that three score ten
Was Man’s allotted span
Yet Linda still defies the clock
And scorns the Phyllosan
She nursed at London Hammersmith
Then midwife was her calling
Before Fiona came along
With nappies and some bawling
She takes to water like a duck
And swims lengths at a stroke
She tends to grandson Callen
And cooks meals for her bloke
Wife, Mum and tireless Grandma
The roles she’s ably played
And once upon a time she was
My first and last bridesmaid.
