Sylvan symphony of birdsong
In sunlight-dappled shade
A dusty path slow winding
From dell to hidden glade
Beyond the Walton Common
A secret woodland maze
Where nature is unfolding
Away from idle gaze
Each track an invitation
To further on explore
Between the trees that shadows cast
Upon the earthen floor.
