Dumper Dumped
Abandoned in the deep wood
Its driver now long gone
Nature is reclaiming
Where once he sat upon
The wheels will never turn again
Its gears no more engage
As ivy wraps the once-pumped tyres
This truck submits to age
Its scoop now filled with water
Where birds may come to drink
As gradually through many years
From memory it will sink.
