Patchwork Sky -
after Georgia O'Keeffe
Crazy paving in the sky
A patchwork made of cloud
A grass bank as a pillow
Here hidden from the crowd
I sense O’Keeffe beside me
I’ve Georgia on my mind
With this celestial canvas
I’m sure her paints she’d find
Immersed in meadow sweetness
Of butterflies and bees
And far off in the distance
My Clevedon cupped in trees.
