Purrfect Happiness
No matter what the time of day
Or where the habitat
I just cannot resist the urge
To go and stroke a cat
Ginger, black or tabby
Whether large or small
Sleek just like a panther
Or fluffy like puff ball
There's some who love their pooches
And take them out each day
Picking up their residue
While they go off to play
But felines are the ones for me
They don't demand a walk
They're strictly independent
It is like cheese and chalk
Dog owners keep your charges
If that you should prefer
But I will just be satisfied
With one contented purr.
