A Warren Walk
A silver-lined horizon
Across a slate grey sea
Bracken gently waving
Gull cries for company
Across the rugged headland
The level path snakes round
While down below the cliff edge
The waves a background sound
White foam around the jagged rocks
Far yachts with filling sails
Taking full advantage
Before the fair wind fails
A lone kestrel a-hovering
Keen searching for its prey
A sudden dive to earth and then
It swiftly wings away.
