Dragons' Teeth of Fairbourne
Dragons' teeth protecting
From once a threatening foe
Reminders of a worldwide war
That ended long ago
On banks of round grey pebbles
Behind the sandy beach
Of strife a hard reminder
A lesson here to teach
Today they form just platforms
For obelisks of stone
Why not saluting fallen
Who died for us alone?
