A lovely Channel viewpoint
With grass soft-brushed by breeze
Now who would want to bury this
Beneath one thousand trees
Whitehall gave a mandate
And this is one result
But no one told our council
To not fully consult
We should support rewilding
To combat climate change
But damaging our beauty spots
Is more than somewhat strange
If we can work together
Not bow to some diktat
Then we can all help Planet Earth
With more wild habitat.
