Striding To Stratford

Past the Bournville purple
Home of chocolate bars
Up to join a towpath
And leave the world of cars
From a station platform
With sign to guide their feet
To Kings Norton junction
Where two canals do meet
Ahead the town of Stratford
With many locks between
As grimy urban landscape
Gives way to scenes of green.
