Sunak's Back
Our Truss we found had been misplaced
A quasi budget poor
After markets meltdown
A Premier shown the door
A nomination scramble
Was once more underway
And yet again the public
Denied a vote or say
But then when it was obvious
Rishi could not be stopped
The Tory MPs were agreed
And now the Penny's dropped
No Mordaunt need for ballot
Or fresh backbench attack
He's changed address in Downing Street
And Sunak now is back
So is it bye, bye Boris?
Just as we all thought when
We might just see those shaggy locks
Return to Number Ten
Despite the Rees Mogg backing
He did not join the fray
Perhaps he'll stay in waiting
And hope for better day.
