Without Mercy
No mercy from the Russians
No sign they feel the shame
Of slaughtering Ukrainians
Beneath each missile rain
Secure within their bunkers
They launch their waves of death
Unconcerned for innocents
Who take their dying breath
A hospital a target
Where children came for care
Doctors searching rubble -
Destruction everywhere
Infants still attached to tubes
Their treatment now disturbed
And yet inside the Kremlin
Putin is unperturbed
He's more intent on greeting
Some leaders who don't mind
To toady with this monster
They're stupid or they're blind
Today he gives them cheap oil
Or other forms of aid
An utter lack of conscience
Is sadly here displayed
Those who might have suffered
Some past threats to their land
Shake a hand that's bloodstained
It's hard to understand
How Russia now responsible
For such obinations
Can still remain a member
Of our United Nations.
