Pedal Powerhouse

David's a pedal powerhouse

From Spain up to Dunblane

Since he bought a Danish bike

He's never been the same

From Bilbao to Portsmouth

He travelled back by sea

And now he's cycling northwards

With his own company

His High School is behind him

Now Edinburgh's in sight

It's music that he'll study

From morning, noon 'til night

Composer he would like to be

If that's within his reach

But in the meantime I feel sure

He'll pupils find to teach.
