Colouring In The Years -
in tribute to Hazel Ashley calendars
When Winter turns to Spring again
And Summer leads to Fall
The years unroll with Hazel's art
Displayed upon the wall
Her calendars of Norfolk scenes
Recall each seaside day
Of walks among the Holkham woods
And sands where children play
Bobbing yachts by quayside
Windmills against the sky
Eager dogs on straining leads
Geese flying up on high
Crabbing on Wells Harbour
Picnics on the dunes
Paddling on the shoreline
Long lazy afternoons
It seems that 2025's
The final one, I hear
But Hazel, heed the pleas of fans
And give us one more year!
