Flying Gem
Turquoise jewel a-flashing
'Neath golden bridge of stone
A fleeting glimpse just captured
By walker stood alone
A dart of technicolour
A gem of shimm'ring light
Skimming 'cross the water
With colours sparkling bright
Kingfisher busy fishing
In Avon's gentle flow
Providing for the watcher
An early morning show.
