Soft Purrsuasion
A face that's so appealing
Accompanied with a purr
A look that says, 'Come stroke me
‘I have the softest fur'
I had a cat companion
Who shared my town house home
He used a handy door flap
When he would like to roam
His night forays a mystery
But evenings he would spend
Curled up here upon my lap
A faithful feline friend
Sadly he then passed away
The house was not the same
Without my friendly ginger tom
And Oscar was his name
Yet I have not replaced him
My lifestyle wouldn't suit
Even such a Siamese -
Although he does look cute.
