Puff The Spider
Spiders aren't my favourite
They scuttle and they scare
On webs, in darkened corners
It seems they're everywhere
But now a revelation
I have a new-found friend
Known as Puff the Spider
He lives just round the bend
Behind the loo in bathroom
One night he did appear
Black against the white tile
And yet I didn't fear
My usual way of copng
In cup I swiftly tuck
With thin card to entrap them
And out the window chuck
But Puff stood there so calmly
I gave a little blow
And down behind the toilet
I saw him swiftly go
The next night he was there again
I used the same technique
So now we play a nightly game
Like friendly hide and seek
I still can't say I love them
I wouldn't go that far
I'll choose a pet cat every time
And not tarantula.
