Drones Over White House
If drones were over White House
Mar A Largo hit at night
Trump Tower struck by missiles
You'd then know Ukraine's plight
If your son sent to fight in war
That US didn't start
Would you expect your allies
To coolly stand apart
If ammunition needed
Was given, then denied
Intelligence withheld from you
Obscuring other side
Would you wish the aggressor
Just given all the spoils
While former friends were angling
To bargain for your oil
If you appealed for vital help
But then received instead
Public humiliation
Dishonouring your dead
If you were forced to swallow peace
That meant abject surrender
Could you then tell your people
You were the great defender
With Russia on your doorstep
Would you be Putin's friend
I think we know the answer
And how your tale would end.
