Space Dome
Looming over treetops
An alien-looking dome
Placed in rural Hertfordshire
For Heathrow jets to home
Above the pleasant countryside
The sound of circling planes
Intrudes upon the peace and quiet
Of winding country lanes
High up in their cabin seats
The passengers prepare
To fasten up the seat belts
All blissfully unaware
That on the ground below them
This space-like shape was planned
That from the busy London skies
They all would safely land.
