Blood Brothers
While Ukraine heroes struggle on
Through winter snow and mud
Trump is planning handshake
With Putin drenched in blood
Bombs still rain from out the skies
And families live in fear
But when peace talks are started
Zelensky's nowhere near
Washington and Moscow
Deciding others fate
One's set sight on Nobel prize
The other's fuelled by hate
America once symbolised
Democracy's pure aim
Now capitulation
Will bring shame to its name
And Europe's on the sidelines
With leaders left perplexed
All knowing that if Russia wins
Their countries could be next.
