A Fig Problem
I love the fine fig houseplant
I got from my friend, Pat,
I sat it on a windowsill
And thought that was that
I watered it once weekly
From bottom not the top
But then without a warning
Some leaves began to drop
They're yellowish and sticky
Not pretty now at all
It seems that in September
It's chosen that it's Fall
So now I'm seeking remedies
Perhaps a leafy soak
In diluted Fairy Liquid
I'm such a hopeful bloke
Maybe this will cure it
If not I'll have a moan
As it will mean I'm leaving
Pete's cactus all alone.
