Diamond Bell
Through lovely Cotswold countryside
On paths she knew so well
The Diamond Way created
By one Elizabeth Bell
From Moreton with its civic clock
Then round and back again
Over fields, through woodland
Down quiet country lanes
Towns, villages and hamlets
Streets of golden stone
A walk enjoyed accompanied
Or even on one's own
Maps with charming drawings
Instructions there to follow
Leading over rolling hills
And into shady hollows
A fitting celebration
Of Ramblers' jubilee
Highlighting these rural gems
So one and all can see.
