Upon the Quantock Hills

Nestled in the bracken

A group of daffodils

A bonus for the walkers

Planted by who knows

Delighting all who see them

As by the path they show

Yellow midst the brown fronds

Covering the ground

Unexpected beauty

Just waiting to be found.
