Putin - The Devil We Know
When Putin greets his daughters
Does he boast of how his drones
Can kill Ukrainian children
Sheltering in their homes
If Putin talks to ex-wife
The one who walked away
Is his invasion mentioned
As death toll grows each day
When Putin's with his mistress
Does she applaud his taste
For missiles raining from the skies
And cities laid to waste
When Putin stops at end of day
And retires to his bed
Does he hear crying widows
See mounting piles of dead
As Putin talks of peace with Trump
This killer with a smile
Raising hopes of ceasefire
While plotting all the while
When Putin meets his Maker
We hope he's made to pay
And faces final judgement as
Damnation comes his way.
